In 2002, Matt Co-Founded Suncrest Advisors alongside his father, Boyce F. Lowery, CLU®, ChFC®.  As of 2022, Matt has been appointed Managing Partner of the firm.  He is excited to bring his invaluable experience at large investment firms, private banks, and insurance companies back to Suncrest Advisors.  With his well-rounded skill set that spans two decades, Matt is dedicated to using his knowledge to better serve all Suncrest Advisors’ clients. He specializes in creating fully comprehensive financial plans that efficiently meet his clients’ diverse goals. Additionally, Matt regularly consults on income tax and capital gains tax minimization strategies, asset protection, risk management, employee benefits, key-employee retention planning, executive compensation, company retirement plans, tax-efficient retirement income planning, tax-efficient business exit strategies, and estate planning. He is passionate about empowering people to find and keep their financial freedom while accomplishing their lifestyle desires. Matt is an alumnus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Planning in 2001.
